About

Hello! I'm Hassan, an enthusiastic explorer at the intersection of Space Sciences and International Relations. My academic journey started with a Bachelor's degree in Space Sciences, where I developed a deep understanding of Geoinformatics and Machine Learning. This unique blend of subjects has not only equipped me with a robust analytical mindset but also ignited my passion for delving into the complexities of global politics and diplomacy. My foray into the world of International Relations was partly fueled by my extensive preparation for competitive bureaucratic examinations. This phase of my life opened up new avenues of thought, leading me to contemplate the broader implications of strategic decision-making on a global scale. It is in this context that I conceived the idea of "The Grape Trap," a theoretical framework that seeks to unravel the intricate dynamics of persistent, yet often unproductive, strategic engagements in international relations. "The Grape Trap" theory is born out of a desire to understand why states and non-state actors repeatedly find themselves caught in cycles of engagement that yield little in terms of tangible outcomes. This theory synthesizes concepts from behavioral economics and psychology with international diplomacy and conflict resolution. It represents my endeavor to contribute a fresh perspective to the field, bridging the gap between empirical research and theoretical innovation. Presently, I am on the lookout for opportunities to pursue a PhD, aiming to refine and empirically validate "The Grape Trap." My research interests are broad yet interconnected, focusing on international negotiation, , conflict resolution, Foreign Policy, diplomatic engagements and strategies, global governance, decision making and the impact of social norms in conflict-affected areas. As a first-generation college graduate, I am deeply committed to academic excellence and aspire to contribute meaningfully to the discourse in International Relations. My background, which marries the precision of science with the nuances of global politics, positions me uniquely to approach international issues from a fresh, multidisciplinary perspective. I am eager to connect with fellow scholars, practitioners, and anyone interested in the dynamic world of international politics. Whether it's discussing research, potential collaborations, or exchanging insights on global affairs, I am always open to engaging conversations and new learning opportunities. I look forward to exploring this vibrant field further and making my mark in the world of International Relations!
