Abstract

This panel further advances knowledge on the re-scaling of migration governance from a state-centric approach to a focus supra- and sub-state levels of government. The panel focusses on a broad variety of policy fields within the large area of migration governance and takes a global approach, including papers discussing drivers and effects of the variety of naturalization practices in Germany, the implications of rescaling asylum governance in Italy and labour market policies in US states.
