Fees
£480 for students from ECPR member institutions, £530 for non members. This includes the delegate fee and 13 nights’ en-suite bed and breakfast/ self-catering accommodation on the Keele campus.

Target Audience

PhD students and recent postdoctoral researchers working on environmental-political issues. Limited to 22 spaces.

Objectives

To give PhD students and postdoctoral researchers an opportunity to network and discuss their research with peers and well-known academics from other universities and research institutes.

Courses

10 teaching days, with a morning session given by an invited speaker and an afternoon session devoted to presentation and discussion of delegate papers. Please see the website for the provisional programme. Teaching is organised across 5 broad themes: 

  • Green political theory 
  • International relations of the environment 
  • Environment and global political economy
  • Green movements and parties 
  • Public policy and the environment


Delegates should approach their home institution for funding. The Summer School can offer no funding.
