Course fees

Below are the course fees for the 2015 Summer School. ECPR members can save up to €150 and non-members up to €50. See further details below regarding the Early Bird and Loyalty discounts. Plus there is also a discount if you take a package. 

€100 or €50 Early Bird discount: ends midnight Wednesday 18 March 2015 

A €100 Early Bird discount is available to ECPR members only: Two-week courses, two one-week courses or either of these with a Refresher course.

A €50 Early Bird discount is available to ECPR members only: One-week course and a one-week course with a Refresher course. 

The Early Bird discount does not apply to three-day Short Intensive Refresher courses taken on their own.

€50 Loyalty discount

A €50 loyalty discount is available to all participants taking any course (excluding three-day Short Intensive Refresher courses), who attended either the Winter School, Bamberg 2015, or Summer School, Ljubljana 2014. 

Three-day Short Intensive Refresher Courses

23-25 July (15 teaching hours / 5 hours per day)

Courses run in parallel so participants cannot attend more than one Refresher course.

Main courses: Research Design / Fundamental, Data Collection / Generation, Data Analysis (Introductory) and Data Analysis (Advanced)

Week-one courses: 27-31 July (15 hours / 3 hours per day)

Week-two courses: 3-7 August (15 hours / 3 hours per day)

Two-week courses: 27-31 July and 3-7 August (30 hours / 3 hours per day)

Please note to gain ECTS credits there may be an exam on the morning of Saturday 8 August (week-two and two-week courses only)

Payment 

Your payment is due 15 days after the date you register, otherwise your registration will be cancelled and your details removed from the Summer School programme. 

Your place on the course will not be guaranteed until payment has been received in full. Please allow extra time if paying by bank transfer. Your payment due date can be found on your invoice in the My Invoices section of MyECPR. You can pay by credit or debit card online in MyECPR or by bank transfer. Our bank details are on your invoice. If paying by bank transfer the invoice number must be included in the transaction details.

Please do not book or pay for your travel or accommodation until your course/s has/have been confirmed, which happens when the course reaches a sufficient number of registered and paid participants.  The deadline for courses to be confirmed is 8 June 2015.

Invoices and payment receipts can be found by logging into your MyECPR account and opening the My Invoices section.

Cancellation policy

In line with the Office of Fair Trading and EU Distance Selling regulations, there is a 7 day cooling off period following registration during which time you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund of the Summer School fee.  This policy only relates to registration, other items purchased may not be subject to a refund. 

Cancellation/withdrawal from the Summer School after the 7 day cooling off period and before midnight UK time 30 June 2015 will receive a refund of 50%.

Cancellation/withdrawals received after the 7 day cooling off period and after 30 June 2015 will not be eligible for a refund.

     
Changing course after registration

Participants who change courses after they have registered will incur a €25 administration fee. Once you have registered please contact methodsschool@ecpr.eu to make any changes.
